Hi,
With a new year comes renewed focus on what we want to accomplish with whatever it is we do.  I have set new goals for my art this year.  I have made a plan.  I want to focus more on learning, not only technique, but also  to go beyond the technique and capture the feeling and inspiration of the moment and convey that on my canvas. I'm probably going to be continuing on with that at the end of the year and into the new one as well and maybe forever. I want to draw more and work with a live model.  I want to take a portrait workshop.  I want to take classes from other really good artists. I want to balance my time with art, marketing, family and friends and all the other life that I can live.
Making time for what's important.  That includes my spiritual side which is most important of all.  Without that, I could not become anything, much less an artist. Other goals are: enter art contests, get into a new gallery and paint, paint, paint.  I'm off to a good start with this new season.  I have a new gallery, have won second place in a recent show and am taking a portrait workshop in April. I am working once a week with a model. Other workshops are in the planning stage with Bill Davidson and Greg LaRock.  I am blessed.
